The FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX is the most glamorous weekend of the year, it remains the biggest international event in the United Arab Emirates and its capital city Abu Dhabi with a 60,000 person crowd. From super yachts, and super models, to celebrity-studded after-parties and huge Yasalam gigs, Abu Dhabi is the place to be.

This twilight race has a truly magical atmosphere as day turns to night and the lights shine down on some of the greatest names in motorsport. The fact the race is the last of the season makes it all the more exciting and fitting finale to what has been a great year for F1.

So no need to imagine what it’s like being trackside, watching Formula One cars race wheel-to-wheel at 320kph, the circuit bathed in brilliant orange twilight as the sun begins to set in front of you with a cold drink in hand…you can be there!

Mr. Bernie Ecclestone, President of Formula One, has described the Yas Marina Circuit as “one of the most exciting tracks I have ever seen,” high praise for the venue of the F1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. From the twisting Singapore-style street sections to the Monaco-style marina, the Yas Marina Circuit serves up an array of driving challenges for the world’s best drivers.

Soak up the action of the Grand Prix from the viewer-friendly grandstands or go for the more luxurious option of the Marina Hotel or alternative VIP hospitality suites dotted around the track. You could also opt, with a nautical frame of mind, to view the Grand Prix race from your yacht moored in the iconic Yas Marina.

Race viewing

The Yas Marina Circuit has five main buildings Main for grandstand seating and hospitality. They are all equipped with large TV screens opposite and all of them are covered.

• The Main Grandstand offers views of the pit straight, pit garages and podium. The Main Grandstand is the closest building to the F1 Village situated right behind.
• The Al Dhiyafa and Al Jood allows you to watch the track action in a comfortable air-conditioned environment as well as from a private outdoor balcony with unreserved seating. The difference between these two hospitality packages is that there is a bar accepting cash (no cards) for alcoholic drinks at Al Dhiyafa. Only 3 Day tickets are sold for these options.
• Lounge tickets provide a reserved seat in the shade at the top level of the grandstand, as well as access to an air-conditioned lounge area where you can purchase food and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Club tickets provide ticket holders with a reserved seat in the grandstand and access to an outdoor lounge where food and alcoholic drinks can be purchased. Final point, all the seats in the West Grandstand are protected from the sun.
• Formula One Paddock Club is the highest level of hospitality, including a pit lane walk, excellent views of the circuit and start / finish of the race.
