This magical safari combines some of the best of southern Kenya by air. Our executive Cessna 208B Grand Caravan is an aircraft of the newest generation, equipped with the most modern avonics equipment; a Garmin 3D navigation system and digital weather radar. Each aircraft are equipped with the luxury ‘Oasis’ interior, offering 8 luxury first class leather reclining seats and air conditioning. A spacious cabin and the ability to move in all directions to ensure not only ample leg space, but also unhindered photography. Each seat is equipped with a personal headset and a large window and during the flight, your pilot guide will give you information about the wildlife and the scenic highlights that pass below. Your safari takes you to both Tsavo East and West National Parks, Amboseli and the Masai Mara. Observe the passing Elephant herds, Hippos basking on river banks below and the beauty of Kenya’s rolling savannah plains below. This safari combines to create what is truly a magical flying experience. Safari starts either Mombasa OR Nairobi.

Tour Program

Day 1: Mombasa – Tsavo East

Pick up from your hotel and transfer to the airport. With the luxurious Cessna, you fly into Tsavo East National Park. Here you are picked up by your guide in an all-terrain vehicle and drive to Satao Camp. After lunch, you experience your first game drive.
Dinner and overnight stay at Satao Camp.

Day 2: Tsavo East – Tsavo West

After breakfast you fly into Tsavo West National Park. Lunch awaits you at Severin Safari Camp. Afterwards, you have time to relax at the KENBALI SPA. Enjoy the beautiful scenery from the camp pool or relax during one of the massages. Inspired by the African wilderness and centuries-old Southeast Asian techniques of wellbeing, the Spa is an oasis of peace and relaxation. In the afternoon, you go on an excursion to the popular Mzima Springs, a little oasis of palm trees and acacias.

Day 3: Tsavo West

Start the day with an early morning game drive along the meandering Tsavo River – a lifeline for hippos and crocodiles. On your return to the camp breakfast awaits. Afternoon game drive ending at Poachers Lookout, an elevated point with a stunning view out across the bushland of El Turesh. Enjoy canapes and a glass of bubbles as you watch the sun set over the African savannah. Head back to camp as the light fades and experience a night game drive – a memorable adventure.

Day 4: Tsavo West – Amboseli

Early morning game drive across the extensive Tsavo savannah. A fascinating countryside with its volcanic landscape and unique animal life. Return to camp for breakfast, check out and thereafter fly to the Amboseli area. On arrival, a short scenic flight over the elephant marshes before toucing down in Amboseli. Transfer to Satao Elerai, located on a hill with wonderful views out across Mt. Kilimanjaro. After a hearty lunch in camp, the opportunity to visit a Maasai Village to get an insight into the life of this traditioal tribe.

Day 5: Amboseli

Morning game drive into Amboseli National Park. The park is 39,206 hectares in size and sits at the core of an 8,000 square kilometre ecosystem that stretches out across the Kenya-Tanzania border. This is the park for Elephant! Lunch in camp, afternoon at leisure by the pool and the panoramic views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Afternoon, game drive within the Elerai conservation area, ending with a bush sundowner and an evening / night game drive back to camp - a great opportunity to see the smaller nocturnal animals.

Day 6: Amboseli – Masai Mara

After breakfast, fly to the world famous Masai Mara Game Reserve. On arrival, your personal safari guide will welcome you and drive back to camp for lunch. Afternoon game drive within the spotted plains of the Masai Mara ecosystem. Experience different species of wildlife amongst a unique African landscape. Karen Blixen Camp, consisting of 22 luxurious tents is set on a bend of the Mara River. The location is spectacular, with the great Mara plains behind the camp and the impressive escarpment and the river in front.

Day 7: Masai Mara

During the day, you go on a game drive through Masai Mara. The game reserve is best known for its wildebeest and zebra migration, which tends to pass through the area July to October, but many areas offer excellent game viewing year round. Breakfast and lunch at camp. We offer you the option to go on a balloon safari (for a surcharge) and to enjoy the bird’s eye view of Kenya.

Day 8: Masai Mara – Nairobi

Leisurley breakfast, check out and transfer to the airstrip for your return to Nairobi on scheduled air service. On arrival in Nairobi, your driver will meet and transfer you back to your hotel. When SAS 910 (9 day safari) is booked, you will stay at Karen Blixen Camp in Masai Mara for one more night and enjoy a guided bush walk. Afternoon return flight Nairobi Wilson Airport.
